Abstract
Magical thinking shapes the behavior of children and adults. Previous literature discusses how children attribute magical causes to impossible events. This study will examine whether children view magical objects as causes for impossible versus improbable outcomes and developmental differences in children’s use of magic as an explanatory tool.
