Abstract

We examined how frequency of sex toy use, sexual assertiveness, and sexual self-esteem predicted women’s sexual satisfaction in romantic relationships. In women who used sex toys with their romantic partner, higher frequency of sex toy use related to lower sexual satisfaction, but only after controlling for sexual assertiveness and self-esteem.
