Abstract
A randomized control trial assessed how genetic-risk information and race influences providers’ interactions with a virtual patient with obesity. To our surprise, a white patient prompted more negative responses than a Black patient when no genetic risk information was presented. When this information was provided this racial difference was attenuated.
