The Effect of Teacher-Student Relationships on Academic Motivation and Success in Vulnerable College Students

The current study explores how college students’ relationships with professors affect academic success and motivation. The focus is on students of color, first-generation students, and first-year students. The researcher hypothesized differences in TSR quality, motivation, and success would occur across students depending on these factors.
