Effects of Gender and Ethnicity on Public Speaking Anxiety

Abstract
We compared differences in gender and ethnicity for student’s self-reported public speaking anxiety, anxiety, and depression. We found a statistically significant main effect of gender with women reporting higher public speaking anxiety and no main effect of ethnicity or interaction effects.
