Abstract
Greater cognitive reappraisal skills and less expressive suppression were associated with increased emotional prosocial behavior engagement. Moreover, expressive suppression moderated the association between electrodermal activity (EDA) to social exclusion and emotional prosocial behaviors, such that adolescents with less EDA reactivity and less expressive suppression displayed the greatest prosocial behavior engagement.
