Abstract
This study examined whether contact with the juvenile justice system during adolescence is related to long-term behavioral, academic, and occupational outcomes, and whether the nature of the contact with the system (i.e., formally processing versus diversion) impacts the degree to which contact is associated with negative outcomes.
