Abstract

Utilizing a daily diary design and multilevel modeling, we assessed the associations among trait openness and eleven sub-dimensions of hedonic and eudaimonic well-being. Openness was directly associated with global measures of positive affect, personal growth, and autonomy, whereas only positive affect and personal growth were associated when measured daily.
