Abstract
A novel standardized patient course was developed for first-year genetic counseling master’s degree students, with a focus on specific clinical communication skills. Students were very satisfied with the course, reported an increase in self-efficacy, and suggested the material would be very applicable to their upcoming first clinical rotation.
