Evaluation of a Novel Stress-Reduction Activity for College Students: Comparing Interactions with a Robotic Dog to an Established Stress-Reduction Task

This experimental study will (1) examine whether engaging with a socially interactive robotic dog reduces stress, loneliness, and other negative emotions in college students and (2) compare the results obtained from this novel activity to an established stress-reduction task. Results will inform the variety of stress-reduction strategies offered to students.
