Abstract
I hypothesize that sleep has a direct affect on the storage of false memories in an individual’s short-term memory. Results indicated critical lures were falsely recognized at a higher rate when compared to non-related words, while there was no significant difference in false recognition rates between sleep-deprivation groups.
