Abstract
Risk-taking during adolescence can have steep impacts on healthy development. In a sample of adolescents exposed to early life adversity, we investigated risk-taking behaviors before and after exposure to an acute stressor. Adolescents engaged in greater risk-taking behaviors after exposure to stress, with boys and girls exhibiting the same patterns.
