Factors of Attention: A New Look at an Old Question, Using Old Data

Longstanding debate over the components of attention reflects problems in using reaction times and difference scores from task-based assessments. Recent methodological recommendations were employed in the reanalysis of a 20-year-old dataset of attention measures, yielding increased clarity, reliability, and support for three basic factors of attention.
