Abstract
This qualitative review highlights current trends of qualifying examinations from APA-accredited clinical, counseling, and school psychology Ph.D. programs and suggests future directions for implementation and format. The authors also explore how these exams can be better utilized for preparing students and evaluating deficits in training.
