Abstract
This research examines a structural model of problematic smartphone use (PSU). Rumination thought style (RTS) mediated the relations of anxiety and self-esteem, but not depression, with PSU. In addition, fear of missing out mediated the relations of RTS with PSU, while attachment anxiety did not mediate this relationship.
