Abstract
This study measured the effect of spatial stimulus-response compatibility in elderly participants when they performed tasks alone, or jointly with a human or computer partner. The results indicated that participants shared mental representations with both human and computer partners equally in a spatial but not in a spatially-abstract task setting.
