Abstract

Waiting is an uncomfortable experience that is particularly aversive for some (e.g. individuals with ADHD), known as delay aversion. However, the precise negative emotions and personality traits that contribute to delay aversion are unclear. This study examined both in the moment (while waiting) and personality trait predictors of delay aversion.
