Abstract

“Positive Illusory Bias” (PIB), and its relation to academic performance, was assessed among college students with elevated childhood ADHD symptoms. Rather than showing PIB, those with high childhood ADHD symptoms which have continued through adulthood, self-reported ADHD severity that was greater than objectively-measured hyperactivity/impulsivity. PIB was not correlated with GPA.
