Abstract

We conducted two studies to understand how morphemes influence the handwriting dynamics of adults. In both experiments, morphemes influenced the handwriting of words. This influence occurred independently of the semantic relationship between the base and the derived word: similar priming effects were observed for morphological (fast-faster) and pseudo-morphological (fast-fasten) relationships.
