Abstract

Dispositional negativity is the propensity to experience and express more frequent, severe, or pervasive negative affect, and has myriad consequences for health, wealth, and well-being. The present findings highlight the importance of temperament’s interaction with context, and provide a framework for understanding the applicability of questionnaire-based assessments to momentary mood.
