Abstract
Despite clear negative outcomes associated with early childhood adversity, little is currently known concerning the relationship between differential adversity types and cognitive outcomes. The present study examined how threat and deprivation effect working and episodic memory performance in early adulthood. Threat related maltreatment was found to significantly predict episodic memory.
