Proposal: The Effect of Mask Wearing and Social Distancing during a Pandemic on Others’ Comfort and Judgements

A proposed experiment investigates the effects of mask wearing and social distancing on comfort level and judgement of the person, as well as whether these effects vary in different regions and types of locations within the United States. Determinants of mask wearing and social distancing as social norms are considered.
