Abstract
This research provides a cross-cultural account of how people’s personal values and their perception of others’ values can differentially motivate pro-environmental engagement in a Western (the U.S.) and an Asian (Singapore) culture. Findings underscored the role of culture moderating the value-engagement link via collectivistic attitude.
