Abstract

The study explores young adults’ stigmatizing attitude towards their friends versus peer group who recovered from COVID-19. Results suggest that young Indians stigmatize their peer group. This stigmatization is a function of the degree of transaction. Hence, awareness campaigns are warranted within the educational institutions to fight stigma towards COVID-19.
