Digital Flashcards: Do Students Use Them Effectively?

Abstract
A large survey (n=901) was conducted to investigate how students use digital flashcards, an increasingly popular learning tool. Results indicate students use digital flashcards to self-test and space out study, but may not fully consider the consequences of freely available premade digital flashcard sets that vary widely in accuracy.
