Psychosis-Spectrum Symptoms Enhance the Ability of High-Frequency Transcranial Random Stimulation (hf-tRNS) to Induce Internal Neural Noise and Reduce External Noise Filtering.

Three milliamps of hf-tRNS induced neural noise (compared to sham) in visual cortical processing areas as measured using the Perceptual Template Model. This effect was potentiated by the level of self-reported psychosis-spectrum symptoms among participants.
