Abstract
This study examines associations between pornography use, boredom, and dissociative experiences in a generalized adult sample. It is hypothesized that higher rates of state and trait boredom and dissociative experiences will be related to greater urges to view pornography. This research adapts a biopsychosocial understanding of why individuals view pornography.
