The Impact of Detail and Disability Focus in Diversity Statements

We examined the impact of diversity statements on individuals with and without a disability. Participants were randomly assigned to statements that varied in detail and salience of disability. Participants with disabilities were more favorable towards the organization than participants without a disability. We did not find differences across the statements.
