Abstract

We examined explicit and implicit sexual and gender minority (SGM) bias in parents of SGM children. Explicit and implicit anti-SGM bias were uniquely associated with aspects of psychosocial functioning, including parenting, parent-child unfinished business, and parent and offspring psychopathology. Findings inform interventions to reduce bias in parents of SGM children.
