What Risk Factors Are Unique to Disordered Eating?
- Frances Lauten

Abstract
The proposed research will focus on the underlying factors associated with disordered eating behaviors among ethnically-diverse, low-income college students. Maternal depression is expected to be a risk factor unique to anorexia. Impulsivity is expected to predict bulimia exclusively. Other risk factors are likely to predict other addictive and self-harming behaviors.
