Abstract

The Nihilism Scale was developed and psychometrically evaluated within a community and undergraduate sample to measure the nihilism construct (Forsythe, 2021). Exploratory findings show that nihilism is associated with depression, markers of poor affect and wellbeing, and a struggle to meet basic needs within the context of self-determination theory.
