The Relationship between Personal Perfectionism, Parenting Perfectionism, and Personality Among Mothers and Fathers

The purpose of this study was to explore associations between personal perfectionism, parenting perfectionism, and personality traits among mothers and fathers. Results revealed personal perfectionism was strongly positively correlated with parenting perfectionism for both mothers and fathers, and personal perfectionism and parenting perfectionism were positively correlated with mastery motivation.
