Abstract
Increased substance use (SU) has been observed during the COVID-19 pandemic. Boredom has consistently been linked to SU. This study examined boredom’s impact on SU from March-July, 2020. Boredom was associated with increased SU. Mean rates of SU increased over time. However, these differences became non-significant when controlling for boredom.
