This paper discusses how to teach the logic of Type I Error Rate for Hypothesis Testing in Psychological Research. Elements of data, warrant, claim, qualifier, are discussed in context of hypothesis testing to support claims about psychological constructs. This teaching method can improve students, ability to correctly support research claims.
