Zoom Fatigue: Differences in Reported Effort, Behavior, and Fatigue between Virtual and Face to Face Meetings

Although Zoom Fatigue (ZF) is widely discussed, little empirical work on ZF has been conducted. We surveyed working adults for perceptions of virtual and face to face meetings (VM and F2FM). Reported effort on hypothetically relevant functions were higher for VM than F2FM, and were associated with reported fatigue.
