Exploring the Influence That Ex-Offender Status Has on Employers’ Likelihood of Hiring Military Veterans

The influence that offender status has on employers’ attitudes towards hiring military veterans will be explored by randomly assigning participants to read one of four vignettes describing a potential applicant. It is hypothesized that potential employers will be less likely to hire military veterans who also have an offender status.
