The Relationship between Cultural Health Beliefs and Health Management

Cultural health beliefs related to ethnic identity, family involvement and seeking healthcare when ill. Whites who adopted cultural health beliefs expressed trust in doctors and better self-reported health, whereas, ethnic minorities who adopted cultural health beliefs reported being less capable of dealing with life stressors.
