Abstract
Children with and without ADHD completed the Stop Signal Reaction Time task to identify mechanisms of reactive control following inhibition trials. Poorer overall performance by children with ADHD was explained by slower, less confident decision-making using the diffusion model. No diagnostic differences were identified in mechanisms that supported reactive control.
