Father, Mother, and Child Resources for Children’s Resilience to Ongoing Border Violence

A multidimensional model was examined comprising protective factors predicting children's resilience to ongoing armed border violence. SEM analyses revealed the theoretical model’s high fit to the empirical data. More significant paths with children’s resilience emerged for fathers’ than mothers’ resources. Children’s attachment and coping strategies also played a significant role.
