Terrorist Content on the Internet: Quantifying the Association between Online Extremist Materials and Radicalisation

Abstract
Using 22 independent effect sizes, this meta-analysis quantitively measured the extent that viewing online extremist material correlates with radicalised attitudes, intents, or behaviours. The summary effect size was small, but significant, indicating that the internet may provide advantages for persuasion, but more experimental work is needed.
