A Brief Mindfulness Practice Influences Children’s Executive Functioning

Abstract
We examined the impact of a 10-minute mindfulness practice on executive functioning (i.e., Flanker task) and affect ratings in children aged 7-9. Results demonstrated an increase in accuracy on the Flanker task for the mindfulness group only. However, no other group differences were found.
