Walking the Tightrope: Examining the Pressure to be Less Feminine

The proposed research will investigate the experiences of women who feel pressured to be less feminine (i.e., anti-femininity). Specific attention will be paid to where and by whom women experience anti-femininity, their perceived rationale for their experiences, and how these experiences differ as a function of urban versus rural settings.
