Coming out As Non-Heterosexual: How Home Environment Affects Children’s Age of Acceptance and Acknowledgement

Coming out is often a challenging experience, especially for those who grow up in environments that are unreceptive to homosexuality. This poster presents theoretical research that will show the effects of high household religiosity and authoritarian parenting on the age children come out and how they feel about it.
