The Relationship between Mathematics Anxiety and Performance in an Elementary Student Context

Abstract
This study tested how state math anxiety, at two time points, and trait math anxiety each predicted elementary students' math problem performance using three measures: overall accuracy and accuracy on easy versus hard problems. Correlation and regression models revealed a significant negative relation between later state anxiety and accuracy only.
