Does List Length Affect the Search Set in a Directed Forgetting Task?

Abstract
Memory is worse for items intentionally forgotten in a list method directed forgetting paradigm. This cost is likely due to an increase in the size of the search set, which reduces the likelihood of any one item being recalled and increases recall time.
