Are "Grittier" Students More Strategic Learners: The Role of Procrastination in Grit and Approaches to Learning.

The current study examined how GRIT predicts learning strategies and how procrastination mediates this relationship. It was found that perseverance significantly predicted strategic approaches to learning, and that procrastination partially mediated this relationship. Consistency did not predict strategic learning use, however, the indirect effects were significant.
