Abstract
The impact of shyness on children’s vocabulary knowledge is critical. Here, no significant correlations between surgency and accuracy on an in-lab comprehension test were found, suggesting that in-lab tasks may accurately capture children’s vocabulary and may not be detrimental to language skills.
