Abstract

Undergraduates completed measures of rumination and distress in response to the most impactful lifetime event that violated their morals. Although rumination was associated with greater distress, there were no differences in rumination or distress by race/ethnicity and race/ethnicity did not moderate the relationship between rumination and distress.
