Abstract
The study represents a confirmatory research on the moderating role of neuroticism on evaluative conditioning effect (EC). Introducing ambivalent unconditioned stimuli to the EC procedure, the results indicated that highly neurotic individuals attach more negative valence to initially neutral conditioned stimuli when both positive and negative features are presented simultaneously.
