Examining the Effectiveness of Social Media Nudges in Altering Memories for Misinformation

We will examine whether different social media nudges (i.e., warnings) are more or less effective in combating misinformation and influence perceptions and recall of out-group members. Participants will be presented with an ambiguous scene with misinformation and different nudges. News source and dehumanization are variables of potential inclusion as well.
